Caring for your hair

Caring for your hair

Some blogs are just to sell products or services but hopefully this one is different. Of course we want to let people know about the services we offer and how these can help but also we want to offer advice on hair care so they can help themselves. Hopefully this will means that visitors are more likely to return.

Before washing your hair, brush it through first as this will help reduce tangles. Wetting tangled hair will only lead to more tangles and can lead to hair breaking or shedding prematurely. Commercial dentangling sprays can help make a big difference if continued matting is a problem.

When drying the hair, be as gentle as possible and allow the hair to dry naturally as much as possible. When in the sun, use a UV protection spray whenever possible and if swimming in a chlorinated swimming pool, wet your hair first with fresh water as this will reduce the amount of chlorinated water your hair absorbs.

In all cases, common sense is the key but for specialist help and advice we are always only an email or phone call away.

Going from Strength to Strength

Going from Strength to Strength

This article is a bit unusual in that we just want to say thank you for the patience of all our clients whilst the improvements have been ongoing within our premises. 2017 promises to be an exciting year so before we get fully into the usual pre-Christmas rush we just wanted to upgrade our premises so thank you to everyone (not to mention the staff too) for all their understanding. We promise it will be worth it!

Anyway, onto the subject of staff we would like to take this opportunity to formally welcome Michelle to the team. She is an experienced hairdresser who has a great personality and has in the past helped people suffering from many different types of hair loss so she will be a valuable addition to the team. Her appointment and the building works only serve to underline the commitment of Hair Technology International to remain at the forefront of the hair loss/ hair replacement field in the UK. No other business is better qualified to help so when you need us, just give us a call or email us and we’ll gladly help.
