Since lockdown ended we’ve been contacted by a number of clients who were previously being looked after by our competitors and who either are feeling abandoned or worried due to the lack of support during the lockdown.

At Hair Technology International we fully understand how important it is for hair replacement clients to feel that they are being looked after – with our team of experts we have always tried to be there and in the event of another forced closure we promise we will always do all we can to offer support – this is only possible due to us having seven fully qualified stylists, five completely seperate styling areas, two different locations in Scotland allowing nationwide coverage of clients and multiple suppliers offering excellent products.

If ever there was a time to reflect on who is looking after your hair, now would be a good time and if you feel that your previous suppliers have let you down please call us on 0141 331 2688 and we will do all we can to help.

Our posts are a bit like waiting for a bus – nothing for ages then they all come at once! Sorry!

Anyway if you are an existing client you will see a few changes following the Coronavirus lockdown – these are all geared at making Hair Technology International as safe a place as possible for both you and the team.

Firstly you will see that there are hand sanitisers everywhere you look – please use them upon entry and use a face mask once you arrive. If you don’t have one, we will give you one.

There is a strict no waiting policy, so please don’t bring any friends or family with you – we just want to make sure that the numbers of visitors are properly controlled. To acheive this we will be introducting a new staff rota which will allow cover six days a week but may mean that we don’t have quite so many girls in at the same time. For the time being this makes it all the more important to plan ahead with your appointments.

We already have totally seperate cubicles which are sanitised between appointments and will be introducing disposable gowns and a one way system. On a positive note we can’t offer tea or coffee for now, so at least that’s some good news (if you’ve tasted them, you’d know what we mean!)

Until the end of July we won’t be open on Thurdays but this is just to allow the girls time to sort out their personal arrangements so we can hit the ground running properly in August.

Please remember that these changes are all for the good of you and the team – behind the masks and perspex screen at reception we are still the same team and we promise to always have your back.

After what seems like an eternity, we are finally able to say that we are back to look after our clients.

During the past 16 weeks or so we have tried to reach out to all our clients, reassuring them that we are not too far away but if your details aren’t up to date, this may not have been possible for a very small number of people so if this applies to you please call us on 0141 331 2688 so we can get you fixed up with an appointment. We’ve missed seeing you.

In the next post we’ll explain how the new normal will change the way we work going forward but rest assured that we are here for you and will continue providing the same level of care that we were providing before the lockdown.
